About Us

About Us

Kidbrooke Learning Centre Since 1992

Since then, we have helped a significant number of children aged 7 years old to 16 years old (Year 3 to GCSE) to achieve their full potential. We want every child to do their very best in school and our centre is the best possible support for your child’s educational journey. Our classes are conducted by qualified teachers from reputable schools. Most of our teachers have been teaching at our centre for over 10 years.

Lessons are conducted in a classroom style environment on Fridays from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at the Thomas Tallis School premises in Kidbrooke, South East London. Our goal is to build confidence among children who are striving to learn.

Our Mission

Providing comprehensive, individually focused learning within a group setting that prepares students of all ages for academic and life challenges. The improvements students show, based upon their unique needs and goals is what we strive towards. We also aim to provide leadership skills and inspire students from urban communities to learn and develop to their maximum potential.

Vision statement

Creating confident students. Producing significant improvements in test results in preparation for 11+, SATs and GCSEs. Recruit and retain a diverse faculty, staff and student populations.

Goals

You have the right to know! We will regularly let you know how your child’s education is progressing. You are always welcome to ask questions, ideally when you’re dropping off your child (staff available to deal with enquires from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm). We offer an “End of Term Prize” to the highest scoring student and the student with the most improved test scores during that term from year 3 to year 11. The test scores are comprised of an average of all subjects.

  • Top student - National Book Token
  • Most improved student – National Book Token

We also offer a prize award for the first 50 students who inform us of their results and pass marks for any of the grammar school entrance examinations. Parents are requested to contact KLC after the results are published. The student will only be entitled to receive one award. The student should have attended all the paper courses. Please regularly check our website for prize giving dates.

WHAT PARENTS SAYS

Kidbrooke Learning Centre helped my daughter to hone her skills in all required subjects and build her confidence. She passed all her grammar schools' entrance exams (Kent, Sutton, Medway, Bexley, Newstead Wood) and independent schools.

So many thanks for your contribution to her success.

WHAT PARENTS SAYS

Both my daughters attend this booster school. Both are top of their classes. One of my daughters scored Top ‘180’ in the Bexley selection tests and was guaranteed a place at any of the Bexley Grammar schools. The summer school that prepares the year 5s for the 11+ exams are thorough. The classes are structured and the teachers are experienced.

Attending Kidbrooke learning centre made a big difference to my daughters’ education. It is worth the hassle of getting them there on a Friday evening. Try it! Happy parent!

WHAT PARENTS SAYS

KLC played a key role for both of my daughters to pass the 11+ and get in to the grammar school they wanted during the year Y2014 and Y2018. The Friday class and eventually the coaching provided by KLC motivated them to plan, study and manage the time during the exams to crack these exams successfully. I would strongly recommend KLC for those who aspire to clear 11+ and similar exams for a place in grammar and private schools.
